Message From the President

Welcome to the City of Orange Police Association (COPA) website. The men and women of the Orange Police Department are proud to serve the citizens of Orange. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality and most professional service to the community. We derive great satisfaction from the constructive relationship we have with our community leaders and the people we serve.

Our Membership supports many charitable organizations and community events.  We collectively volunteer hundreds of hours and raise thousands of dollars for worthwhile causes. Our members work with local non-profits, businesses, churches and neighborhood groups to help enhance the community and make it a great place to live.

Be assured that all the members of the City of Orange Police Association are highly trained and ready to serve the people who live, work, visit or do business in Orange.    Our goal is to ensure our membership has everything they need to better serve and protect our great City.

Please contact me if you have any comments, questions or concerns.

Thank you for visiting our website.

C.O.P.A. Officer Down & Scholarship Fund
On December 10, 2016 one of our police officers was seriously injured in a traffic collision during a field investigation. Undoubtedly he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
COPA is committed to assisting our officer and his family during this time. COPA’s has a public charity fund called “The City of Orange Police Association Officer Down & Scholarship Fund.” This is an IRS recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Tax ID# 81-1990673.
The fund is eligible to receive tax deductible charitable donations. This is the only COPA recognized donation format in which all donations received will go directly to the family. If you are interested in assisting the family in other ways, our point of contact is Vice President Dan Norman who can be reached by email at
